Clinical Reflexology
The theory of reflexology is that there are areas of the feet which correspond to organs, systems and structures within the entire body. Special pressure techniques are used on the reflex points of the feet to detect imbalances in the body, and encourage the body's own natural healing abilities.
The aim of reflexology is to restore balance and well-being. For maximum results, a series of regular treatments is recommended. The experience of receiving a reflexology treatment is that it is very restful and enjoyable. Clients have commented that they sleep better, and feel clearer headed and refreshed in the days following the treatment.
Based on the experiences of my clients, I would recommend that reflexology may be useful if you experience any of the following:
- Pre-menstrual syndrome, infertility, endometriosis, menopause, pregnancy, menstrual problems
- Sinus problems, tinnitus, headaches, sore throats, coughs and colds
- Stress, anxiety, low mood, sleeping problems
- Arthritis, muscle and joint problems
- Parkinson's
- Digestive problems and allergies
Reflexology may also be very effective in the prevention of illness and the maintenance of good health. So booking a treatment once a month, or every other month is an investment in your general health and wellbeing.
